(allow 2+ hours to make) MATERIALS NEEDED: * Kitchen stool. Keep your eyes open for one at the thrift store or yard sales. I used a stool we had but were no longer using. I actually bought it a few years ago at Walmart for about $20.   * Fabric: To make two larger bags and two smaller bags like I did you are going to need about 2 1/2 yards of fabric or one $5 twin flat sheet from Walmart. Of course you will need more fabric depending on the size of your stool and the design of your fabric chosen. Read below to see how to determine the amount of fabric needed. * 4 Casters. You can buy these at any hardware store. * 2 packages of bias tape or about 4 yards of homemade bias tape. (Of course you could use ribbon as well.) We’ve talked about using paper decorations to punch up a last minute party, but there are ways that you can incorporate paper into your everyday décor as well. My favorite paper creations of late are tissue paper cherry blossoms, which are as pretty as they are easy to make. A few weeks ago I was charged with the task of decorating a ballroom for my daughter’s school auction. The theme was cherry blossoms, and the result was magical…and budget friendly too! MATERIALS Tree branches (branches with multiple off-shoots are best) Tissue paper (A few sheets goes a long way. We used around 50 sheets for a huge room full of blossoms.) Okay, I'll admit it. I'm addicted to making ball ornaments this year! It's just so simple and there are so many variations! You can fill glass ball ornaments with yarn, twine, feathers, fake snow, pine needles and random craft supplies. You can also fill them with paint! It's so easy to do.All you need is a clear ornament and your favorite acrylic paint.I'm really loving Martha Stewart's paint line. It is full of so many gorgeous colors and shades. Squirt about a teaspoon of paint directly into the ornament.  Slowly swirl it around until it coats the inside. Use a plastic bottle or paper cup to store the ornament upside down. Leave it there overnight so that all the excess paint runs out. Add the metal cap and voila! A lovely painted ornament in any shade you choose!
